Aphinia, thanks for an insightful article. The organization I work in is made up of mostly very senior developers. Personally, I've been building commercial software since 1972. The lesson we've all learned is that when building non-trivial applications, managing complexity must be the primary focus.

We have had a lot of experience building networked systems and realized early on that microservices had both potential and pitfalls. We've evolved the microservices pattern to enable us to better manage complexity. Here's how we did it:
