Having seen and committed my own share of violence I view it as a failure of our species to live up to its potential.

It is a shame that though the advent of universal health insurance could be accomplished through the ballot box, many of the people who would benefit the most from it, voted for the charlatan Trump.

It is unlikely that the people who are financially benefiting from the current system, and are oblivious the suffering and death it causes, are willing to stop feeding from that trough over the death of one (or 100) CEOs. The reality they see doesn't permit the concept.
