I agree. I've been a professional software developer for over 40 years. I develop software that runs on Linux, Windows, Mac OS, iOS, and Android on servers and on browsers. For over a year, my primary workstation has been an ASUS Chromebook. The Google Remote Desktop and the Secure Shell App let me move seamlessly among all the computers upon which I work and every bit of code I have written (Java, C, SQL. JavaScript, HTML, and CSS) lives safely in a GitHub repository. Linux, Android, and browser code run natively on my Chromebook, while Remote Desktop and Secure Shell get me to everything else.
