I'm not questioning what happened at your start-up. I'm questioning the conclusions you drew from it. A-holes exist at every experience level--- but often inexperienced people do not realize how much they do not yet know.

Not everyone benefits from experience, but many do. Most of humanity's progress is attributable to the knowledge passed down from generation to generation. Where might we be if we had to start from zero at every generation?

Many beginners think that learning one language or framework makes them experts in software development because they have had little exposure to the other alternatives. You cannot imagine how many "great new things" I've seen come and go. (My start-up is using React JS for our UI because its component model fits the rest of our software architecture, but there are other viable alternatives.)

My best wishes for the success of your start-up.
