JIN, I do not think that my explanation is better than yours. It just has a different emphasis. The majority of REST API developers have the same perspective as you have.

The difference is that I’ve been building software for 50-years and have had more of an opportunity to learn from my mistakes. I’ve been very lucky and am still working at something I really enjoy.

Currently, I’m a software architect at a multinational biotechnology company designing the next generation of software for medical devices that identify micro-organisms and determine the most effective antibiotics and dosages to kill them. I cannot wait to start every work day.
