Speaking up is not a magical solution. Voting is the more practical solution and getting your friends to vote as well. Politicians are painfully sensitive to losing elections.

Americans vote at lower rates than most industrial democracies. We're too lazy to do our duty as citizens and then we complain about the government we get.

We get the government we deserve.

When you don't study the issues and vote intelligently you cede your political voice to wealthy donors and corporate lobbyists.

Only a fool thinks that a revolution beats voting. Revolution is an option if they take away your right to vote.
