Thank you for an excellent post. You obviously have real-world experience delivering real software (and value). All too often I've seen companies new to Scrum turn it into a low-value hamster wheel for developers. Kanban is much less a pseudo religion than Scrum and I've seen it work well and deliver value far more often than Scrum.
