Ian, you had my polite attention until:
2. Renaming US bases - renaming bases named after historic Confederate leaders is tearing down US history and lying supine before cancel culture and 1691. Both funded from enemies outside the US (including China). So he's doing his job.
The naming of military bases after Confederate generals has little to do with American history. It was mostly done in the early 20th century as part of a revisionist history effort by Woodrow Wilson to court Southern political support for WWI. I graduated from the Special Warfare School at Fort Bragg, NC, before a tour in Vietnam. Fort Bragg was named after a failed Confederate general whose own senior officers officially requested that Jefferson Davis relieve him.
Trump wouldn't have any way to understand what doing his job means. From his distorted perspective, his job is the glorification of Donald J. Trump and the destruction of his perceived opponents. Any ancillary benefits to the United States are purely accidental. He is psychologically damaged goods and unable to see anything more than himself. The idea that Trump has used his veto power to protect anyone else’s Constitutional rights is absurd. He has repeatedly demonstrated a glaring lack of knowledge of, or respect for, the Constitution.
